TreeTop's Tornado document allows you to create Tornado sensitivity diagrams. Tornado diagrams are one of many forms of sensitivity plots that are generated to test each alternative solution (or strategy) against the uncertainties in the project.
Tornado diagrams are created to gain insight into the impact of the project uncertainties against the metrics in your project.
They identify the key uncertainties, those variables whose range of possible outcomes has the greatest potential to impact the metric, such as net present value, profit, etc.
Multiple Tornado diagrams are compared to choose the best strategy, or to develop new strategies based on the insights gained. TreeTop's Tornado Comparisons offer advanced features to compare Tornados and aid with the analysis and gathering of insights.
Use the metrics drop-down in the bottom right of the application to change the metric when viewing Tornado diagrams.
